Shakeology is one of the more popular shakes on the market.  It’s no secret that I’ve been a Team Beachbody coach for a few years.  The accountability that being a coach offers is amazing.  Not to mention the products work.  But, of course, you need to use them properly.  Shakeology can have all the benefits in the world.  But if you’re still having that McDouble Triple Burger every night, you might as well not waste your money.  It’s like that with any weight loss plan, diet, or workout routine, if you’re not covering all your bases, you won’t see lasting results.

It’s important to never miss a Monday during your fitness journey.  Sure, rest days are encouraged and necessary.  But Monday should not be the day you miss.  Mondays have a reputation for being a crappy day.  So this makes more acceptable to relax after a ‘case of the Mondays‘.  Or if you spent the entire weekend couch surfing, what’s one more day?  For those who enjoy resolutions and clean slates, Mondays offer a new start.  Although it’s important to keep in mind, you can start any time.  But, let’s talk Mondays for now.

Little things have a huge impact when lot when it comes to gratitude.  We easily express gratitude for the bigger, obvious things (the perfect house, luxury car, boat, etc.) when it comes to talking about things to be grateful for.  All too often, we forget to acknowledge and appreciate the little things in life.  Because they seem small, it’s easy to let these slip by in our daily hustle and bustle.  But no matter how mundane something might seem, it’s important realize that it is important and plays a significant role in our lives.  Without the small things, life would be more difficult, if not, near impossible.

What you keep in your gym bag can help you succeed in your fitness journey.  The “perfect” gym bag is stocked with your gym essentials, but small enough to fit in the gym locker.  You also want to pack light.  Dragging a 50lb bag on your commute is no fun!  Depending on your gym, they may have some items available for purchase for you.  But who wants to pay top-dollar for a pair of socks.  Plus, your gym may not carry your favorite deodorant.

Who’s your workout buddy?  If you don’t have one, you should find one.  The workout buddy will keep you accountable.  Your workout buddy will help reach your fitness goals.  Your buddy can help get you out of your comfort zone.  Most importantly, your workout buddy will keep you motivated.  Keep in mind, your buddy doesn’t need to local to you.

Your buddy, like mine, can be clear across the country.  A virtual buddy offers the same benefits as an in persona workout partner.  The most important characteristic is that your workout buddy be reliable.  At the same time, you’ll need to reciprocate that reliability.
